Richmond Highlands Park Playground

The Richmond Highlands Park Playground brings together climbing, swinging, spinning, and inclusive play in a space designed for kids with a wide range of abilities.

The Crab Trap® with Alpine® Slide serves as a major feature of the playground, offering multiple climbing routes, varied levels of challenge, and an exciting slide experience. A transfer station broadens access to the structure, giving more kids the opportunity to enjoy its upper-level play components.

Inclusive features continue throughout the space with the wheelchair-accessible We-Go-Round® and the Oodle® Swing, which seats several children at once and includes a transfer point for those using wheelchairs or walkers. Molded Bucket Seat swings provide added stability for kids with limited upper-body strength, while a Symbol Communication Sign gives non-verbal, speech-challenged, and early-learning children another way to communicate with friends and caregivers.
